What happens when I turn Reminders on for the first time?

When you turn on Reminders for the first time, Satago will, the following day, attempt to send the appropriate reminder in accordance to the invoice due date. We will not combine earlier reminders and send them all at once (if applicable). 

For example:

  1. You turn on Reminders for the first time.
  2. You have an invoice that is currently 16 days overdue.
  3. Satago will, the following day, send the Reminder 3 template, which is normally sent when an invoice is 14 days overdue (by default, but please feel free to change the trigger days here). The information in this reminder will be correct for the day it is sent.
  4. The reminder due when the same invoice is 30 days late will be sent as normal on the 30th day when it is overdue.

After you join, you might want to prevent any invoices being immediately chased with Reminder 3 and above. To disable reminders for specific invoices you can go to Accounts > Invoices, filter them by 14+ days overdue and untick chasing for all.
